Español 1: Go to THIS Quia pop-ups activity. Find SIX (random) examples of the 21 there (don't just use the first 6!). Write out the ENGLISH that I wanted you to say, and write out the full SPANISH sentence that includes the CORRECT ANSWER that you chose. CIRCLE that Spanish word that is the one you chose. If you missed class today, this is all explained on page 7 of your packet. (ARIANA R.: Ignore these directions... I sent you an email with assignments for you.)
Español 1: Make four columns: un, una, unos, unas.
List each/all of the clothing vocab words in their correct column... be sure to write the un, una, unos, or unas each time, with the word! It will look kind of like this (only neater!): Español1 1: Finish # 9- 14 on the clothing situations packet. (Daniel M., you left yours in class on Friday. There is a new one attached to Friday's assignment here.)
Español 1: Finish all of the front page of the stapled worksheet with situations requiring clothing items (I handed this back in class, for you to work on after the test). I've attached another copy, below. Daniel M., you left yours here, on the floor; Yohance B., I have yours, but here it is, attached, below. Yohance, plan to take your short test after school , on Monday (unless you have an Ac Lab).
Español 1: Short test on Friday, on saying "going to do X". You can use these flashcards to study, but you should WRITE your answers while you're studying. You have to memorize the voy, vas, va, vamos, van forms... they will not be in a word bank!
Español 1: EVERYONE: Short test on Friday, over making "going to do X" sentences. Be sure to have all forms of the verb ir (voy, vas, va, vamos, van) memorized, as there will not be a word bank for them.
1st Hour: Translate the worksheet I handed out. 5th Hour: Finish the 2-page worksheet that was about turning the sentences into "going to do X" sentences. Español 1: If you missed class today (including being in ISS),you need to finish translating both sides of the worksheet we started. Here are some new -to-you terms and reminders:
a veces = sometimes por la mañana = in the morning por la tarde = in the afternoon por la noche = at night esta noche = tonight este fin de semana = this weekend esta tarde = this afternoon ALSO: Read the very last page of your packet... the last page with notes on it. It's from the book, I think it's packet page 20, book page 136. Read the explanation at the top of the page, all about how to use voy, vas, va, vamos, van +a+an infinitivo, to say that someone is GOING to DO something. EX: Voy a salir. = I am going to go out. ¿Vas a estudiar? = Are you going to study? NOTE: When you use the nosotros form of going... vamos.... it can means two things: ¡Vamos a comer! = 1. We are going to eat • 2. Let's eat ! NOW: Go to this QUIA activity, and play the matching game 10 times. Do a screen-video of yourself doing this activity (use QuickTime for the app), or I will not give you points. This activity is meant to: 1-- Reinforce the correct structure of this new tense for you 2--Help you review and reinforce the forms of IR (the to go verb ): voy, vas, va, vamos, van 3--Help you review and reinforce the various -ar and -er and -ir verbs you have learned so far. Español 1: Finish translating the 9 sentences on the front of the worksheet we started in class today.
Español 1: TEST ON FRIDAY--similar to the worksheet we've been doing (ser, estar, ir, places, adjectives of personality & physical description, adjectives of temporary feelings, making adjectives "agree" at the end). Use those good online activities to practice! ALSO: Here is a NEW Quia practice activity for ser vs estar.
Español 1: TEST ON FRIDAY--similar to the worksheet we've been doing (ser, estar, ir, places, adjectives of personality & physical description, adjectives of temporary feelings, making adjectives "agree" at the end)
