The three kings are:
El Rey Melchor: The Sultan of Arabia. His gift was gold. He has a long, white beard.
El Rey Baltazar: He was a Nubian King and ruler of Ethiopia. His gift was myrrh, which was a precious, aromatic resin from the bark of trees. He is usually dark skinned.
El Rey Gaspar: He was Emperor of the Orient, ruling over all of the eastern lands. His gift was frankincense, an aromatic gummy substance that was burned in temples to honor God.

Los Reyes (the kings) are usually shown arriving on camels, since they were, after all, crossing the desert . You see them this way on cards, or decorations , and you see them this way sometimes in big parades, in Spain or Puerto Rico, for example.
Sometimes, for parades, they arrive on a float,
or in a special throne, big enough for all three of them:

Often, families will have their picture taken with los Reyes, like the way American children often have their picture taken with Santa:
La Rosca de Reyes • El Roscón de Reyes
Most hispanic countries have a special ring-shaped cake to celebrate king day.
In Spain, they call it el Roscón,
but in most Latin American countries, they call it La Rosca.

The cake is kind of like a coffee cake or brioche or stollen kind of texture, and is shaped in a ring shape that symbolizes the crown of thorns, or the crown of the kings. The cake is usually decorated with colorful candied fruits, representing jewels on the crown.
Usually, there is a really little ceramic baby (la muñequita) baked inside the cake, and the person who ends up with the slice of cake that has la muñequita, has to bring the tamales for the next party, on Candelmas (February 2), when baby Jesus was supposedly taken to the temple to be blessed.
