Español 1: For the project, be sure that you have all 11 family photos ready to use (in a folder on your computer), and at least 3 people filled in and labeled, on the family tree (Árbol de familia). Find the link for the Google doc with directions and the actual chart that you are going to use, on the Moodle. Remember, this is a fictional family! You are free to put photos of your own family, but all fictional is okay, too. Everything has to be represented, though. The link looks like the image, below:
Español 1: EDIT: I had put a link to the wrong Quizlet... this morning, I have it fixed--> Go to THIS QUIZLET . Get a piece of paper and something to write with . Find the following kinds of examples, in the Spanish sentences on the Quizlet. Write them down, and write their translation in English next to them:
• 2 that use "son", and have the adjective(s) in the FEMININE form • 2 that use "son" and have the adjective in a form that works for either MASCULINE or FEMININE • 1 that uses "eres" • 1 that uses "somos" • 1 that uses "usted" Español 1: En el paquete--> Translate the three little descriptions in sections D, E, and F, on page 4 of your packet (page 57 of book). Write this out, either on the packet page, or on separate paper.
Español 1: Practicing with HAY and NO HAY :
• 6 examples using "Hay..." (follow with English, then translate Hay = There is OR There are).... tell about ingredients that are in recipes? or things in your house? or in your room? or in your backpack? EX: Hay flour in a cake = There is • 6 examples using "No hay..." (same as above... but, translate as "There isn't any... " OR "There aren't any...") EX: No hay paper in our printer! = There isn't any... EX: No hay jalapeños in chocolate chip cookies! = There aren't [any.].. Español 1: Using the worksheet we began in class, find 10 of the sentences where you already have the adjective highlighted, and do this:
